  • Men's micro crew socks average 8.5 in. from heel to cuff - expect them to show about 6 in. above a low hiking shoe or just above a standard hiking boot.
  • A performance fit means no slipping, no bunching, no blisters for peak hiking comfort.
  • Merino Wool is at home on the trail, naturally moving moisture to keep feet fresh and dry in all weather.
  • Our warmest socks - heavyweight socks regulate heat, transfer moisture, and provide steady comfort in cold weather.
  • Reinforced Achilles cushion improves the comfort of our socks and helps them last longer.
  • We close every toe seam using our True Seamless™ Toe technology for an ultra smooth, undetectable feel.
  • The “still” in Still Made in Vermont, USA is personal. We knit all our socks at our VT-based Mills - we can't imagine it any other way.
  • Unconditionally Guaranteed for Life - if these aren’t the longest lasting socks you’ve ever owned, return them for another pair.

Unrivaled Durability

We make one thing, and we make it better than anyone else – ask any thru hiker and you will likely hear the same. In order to unconditionally guarantee a hiking sock for life, it must be durable. It must maintain its comfort, and it has to fit for miles upon miles on-trail. The socks that do return through warranty inform how we can improve. And we do. Our guarantee is a promise to you, but it’s a standard for us. We have yet to produce our best sock, but we get better with every step.

Best Most Respected Garment Period.

"Our household has utilized Darn Tough socks for years. We are agriculture hard working blue collar humans. We love our comfort, durability, colors, and super cushion. The warranty program is stellar if needed, we used it once as a test on a pair of socks that I am sure I had for 8 years plus just to see how the interaction would go. We have bumped our sizing up 2 notches for lazy day socks around the house to replace slippers, Works Fantastic."

Accompany of integrity

"I love these socks! I’ve been wearing these types of socks, the full cushion for years… the only difference is is that I’ve gotten different color recently, then just the normal dark, gray and red version. I like this color better because the inside is white fabric that slowly gets worn down and stick sticks to your feet and doesn’t leave black fluff balls everywhere but instead of white fluff balls so you don’t even see… big improvement over the dark black ones! As always, amazing company, amazing socks, and amazing service!! thanks so much guys! For doing and being a company with integrity!"

Quality!

"Best socks I have ever worn. They fit perfectly. I love the thick cushion. They keep my feet cool and dry. It’s amazing. They don’t need to be washed after every wear. I turn them inside out to air out and they are like a brand new pair each and every time I put them on. I wash them in cool water and let them air dry. These socks look and feel like the day I bought them. Definitely worth the money!!"

Best Socks ever.

"I’ve tried a bunch of Darn tough socks all good ones, but these are the very best! These socks are the most comfortable socks ever. Feel so nice on my feet. All season socks. I live in Minnesota so we get all the weather. Working, biking, hunting, fishing and hiking. So happy to have found the perfect sock for myself. Plus a lifetime warranty. Can’t beat em. Thanks Darn Tough Chris A"

Very comfortable socks and durable.

"Very comfortable socks and durable. I used to wear out socks very quickly with holes showing after a few months of use, but these socks are still holding up after months of use."

Unmatched Comfort

"The cushion game is strong with this one. I love the flexibility, and the height is perfect. They are perfect for the winter, but can be a little warm if the weather gets hot. The colors are fun, and these are some of my favorite socks to put on."

Jeremiah H. (5/5)

pretty good

"love the cushion. . . . just wish it wasn't as tight around the ankle."

Men’s mountaineering micro crew sock

"I took these socks for about a 5 mile hike and sub freezing weather with about 6 inches of snow on the ground and my feet stayed warm and dry. The socks are very comfortable plenty of padding in the heels in the toe and I like them, so much that I ordered a few different styles and I’m going to be giving those a workout in the near future."
